Lots of Kill Your Idols news

For Kill Your Idols current European tour, CORE-TEX RECORDS is releasing a small collection of KYI material that isn't officially available in Europe; like compilation songs, split 7'' stuff, cover songs, etc. It is self titled, and will only be available in the European distribution region. No word yet on who will do the vinyl version.

VICIOUS CIRCLE RECORDS from VA. is releasing a vinyl/cd release called "KILL YOUR IDOLS: THE SKINNIER YEARS" which will reflect on old shit like our first demo, our split 7'' with FISTICUFFS, and for the first time ever, THE FIRST TWO SONGS EVER RECORDED BY KYI, NEVER RELEASED ANYWHERE BEFORE. These lost tracks have been mastered, literally, from my only copy of these songs on a maxell tape. But good ol' Dave Brown of Vicious Circle did a great job on the sound.

Sometime this summer, KYI will be releasing a one sided, 3 song 7'' on BRIDGE 9 RECORDS. It will have 2 brand new songs and a JAWBREAKER cover. It will be released on clear, colored vinyl with the skull screened on the back.

ALSO Before next year, they should have a brand new full length by SIDE ONE DUMMY, and perhaps a split with ENSIGN and/or American Nightmare.

Also there's a POISON IDEA TRIBUTE COMP which will be released on a german label called PLASTIC BOMB. They are using "made to be broken", also from the SIDE ONE release. No word on release dates yet.

And finally...the "Live At CBGB's" LP will be out very soon on Creep Records.
