The Artery Foundation announces imprint on Razor & Tie, first releases
Management company The Artery Foundation, who helped cultivate The Devil Wears Prada, Dance Gavin Dance, Attack Attack!, and others, have announced their own imprint record label through Razor & Tie. Artery Foundation founder had this to say:
We believe in developing a band from the ground up, just like we have with all of the bands we manage. What more of a perfect situation if we can put out records as well and have a platform for the new bands that we discover.
Razor & Tie most recently signed Norma Jean, and is also well known for the Kidz Bop series, including Kidz Bop 4. The new label announced that they would be releasing albums from Chelsea Grin and Bury Tomorrow as their first signings in early 2010.
