New Transplants material in the works
Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has hinted that The Transplants, the punk / hip-hop supergroup that features himself, Rancid's Tim Armstrong, and "Skinhead Rob" Aston, is set to return with new music in 2010. The band last released Haunted Cities in 2005 via Atlantic Records. The two Transplants full lengths have featured a number of guests artists including Rancid's Matt Freeman and Lars Frederiksen, the The Slackers' Vic Ruggiero, Sen Dog and B-Real of Cypress Hill, Eric Ozenne of The Nerve Agents, Davey Havok of AFI, and Rakaa Iriscience of Dilated Peoples among others.
There's no word yet on when the new record is planned for or who will be involved.
