Lots of news from Asian Man Records
Asian Man Records is keeping busy in these summer months. They've already put out new releases from the Fairlanes, the Toasters, The Chinkees, and EE [mbrs. of Korea Girl and Seam], and they're not stopping any time soon. In the label's latest newsletter, they announced that in August, they will be releasing the new Nicotine CD, and September will see the release of both the new Asian Man CD sampler as well as the much-hyped Kevin Seconds/Matt Skiba split CD. EE also has a full length on the way, and Dan Potthast of MU330 is also hard at work on a new solo CD for the label. The biggest news, though, is Asian Man reopening their distro, carrying bands that they think people will dig just as much as their bands. You can go here to see the list - the majority of the stuff right now is from Moon Ska Records, which doesn't exist anymore, which essentially makes these CDs out of print. They also got their hands on a box of the first Pilfers CD [the self-released one] as well as a rare No Motiv 7" and some other neat things. Check it out.
