More Chicago band breakup news
"Another Chicago suburban pop punk band, August Premier has decided to also call it quits. They weren't very well known, only in the Chicago area somewhat. But they were nonetheless a favorite by a few people in Chicago. You can still pick up a copy of their EP "Balloons.. Everything's Okay" at Little League Records. Another one bites the dust.
Also, in other Chicago punk band news, Johnny from Allister has also decided to leave the band to pursue a further education and other things. He is still on good terms with the band and everyone wishes him good luck with the future. Allister has already found another guitarist who will be playing all the shows after this week.
The last show for Showoff, August Premier and Johnny is on June 14th at the Cabaret Metro with the debut of 504plan. Bling: $10. Tickets are still on sale at Ticketmaster or if you don't like service charge head on down to the Clubhouse."
Damn, Geetarchick, we should hire you as a reporter.
