Traffic Street Records details new releases
Traffic Street Records has posted the artwork, track listing, details, and streaming audio for their next two records, both of which are slated for an early April release.
First is a split 7" from Elgin, IL's Vacation Bible School and Minneapolis, MN's The God Damn Doo Wop Band. The record is titled Covered and features one new song from each band on the A-side and both bands covering one of the others' songs on the B-side. For VBS, this release follows up their split 7" with Shot Baker for Underground Communique. The God Damn Doo Wop Band notably features vocalists Kat Naden (The Strait A's) and Annie Holoien (The Soviettes).
Second is another split 7", which pairs Madison, WI's The Transgressions and Washburn, WI's The Side Project. The record is titled Stop Wasting My Time and it features three new songs by each band. The Transgressions are following up their 2009 CDEP for Rally Records, Waste My Time, (the art and title of which are parodied subject matter for this record), while The Side Project are following up their 2009 7" for Traffic Street, New Brain.
You can find more details, as well as streams of both records, at the label's website or at their MySpace page.
