Rev news brief: Fall Silent/Since By Man/Elliott and more!
Some news from the Rev camp:
Fall Silent have cancelled the rest of their East Coast tour due to a car accident they endured in New Jeresy. The shows will be made up during the Winter time. Levi Watson had the following to say: "We are all OK, and only sustained minor injuries. The injuries were enough to halt the tour, but we will come back in January to make up the shows. We are deeply sorry for the delay, but we will be back, and we will fucking rock."
The label has also announced the signing of Milwaukee, WI's own Since By Man. The band's debut full length, "We Sing The Body Electric," is scheduled to drop in early 2003.
Speaking of releases, Elliott has had to push back their highly anticipated [at least by me] new full length to early 2003, most likely January.
In tour news, Christiansen will be playing a handful of shows with Alien Crime Syndicate. Those dates are below. The band has also announced plans to do a full tour with Midtown in the future, probably in the fall/winter.
Shai Hulud's newest full length "That Within The Blood Ill-Tempered" is still scheduled to come out this fall, but there's a chance it might be pushed back until early 2003 as well.
Lastly, on a followup to that Drowningman breakup we reported a few days ago, Rev has plans to release their "Demos" CD [consisting of their first two demos they ever did and the last three songs they ever recorded as a band] sometime this fall. Look for it.
