Akimbo to release 'Jersey Shores' on vinyl, head to Japan

To coincide with the band's impending Japanese tour, Red Cobalt Industries has announced a vinyl release for Akimbo's 2008 full-length, Jersey Shores. The slab 'o wax is slated for an October 12, 2010 release, primed with new artwork from artist Nat Damm, who's previously done work for groups such as Melvins, Isis, Botch, Converge and Dillinger Escape Plan, among others. Alternative Tentacles is releasing the album on vinyl outside of Japan on September 21.
