Punk Rock Literature
us "Two new punk-oriented books have just come out recently, and I think you may do some good to check them out.
"Dear Mr. Mackin" by Rev. Richard J. Mackin (Flipside, Razorcake, Suburban Voice) is a hillarious book compiling the best of the best from his zine "Book of Letters" where he sends weird, funny letters to corporations asking them the most bizzare questions and prints their responses.
Also avaliable, "Despite Everything: A Cometbus Omnibus" collects the best of the first twenty years of Aaron Cometbus' amazing zine (including some insanely rare early material you will not be able to find anywhere else). This is obviously legendary stuff here, and required reading for anyone who dares call themselves a punk or a connesuer of underground culture.
Go to your local news stand or punk record store to find these. I already did." Mitch happens to produce a nifty little punk rock comic strip called Nothing Nice To Say, he was classy enough not to plug it in his submission, so I will instead.
