Say Anything join Equal Vision Records

After releasing music through Sony's J Records, Say Anything has signed to Equal Vision. The band has announced that they will begin recording their fourth studio album with producer Tim O'Heir (Say Anything, All-American Rejects) in August 2011. In addition to releasing the upcoming full-length album, EVR will release a wide variety of previously unreleased Say Anything material, vinyl, rarities collections and other forthcoming projects.

The album will be the follow up to 2009's Say Anything and marks the band's first independent release since 2004's ...Is A Real Boy was released through Doghouse Records.

The band has been label-free since August of last year, and in the intervening time bandleader Max Bemis released music under the name Max Bemis and the Painful Splits.
