Reel Big Fire on Tourbus

reporting that Reel Big Fish are
unharmed after being involved in a bus-fire. The six band members and three crew
members were sleeping when their bus caught fire at a Kingdom City, Missouri
truck stop. Bus driver Ron Mullholland noticed smoke pouring from the bus and
alerted the band and crew. Trumpet player Tyler Jones was quoted saying that Mullholland saved his
life, "He was nice enough to come in and say, `Get off the bus, or you will all
die.'" The blaze took 30 minutes to extinguish and the cause was unknown.
The band was on its way to The Blue Note in Columbia on a tour promoting
"Cheer Up." The tour will go on as scheduled.
