A little Social Distortion update

I finally managed to track down some Social
Distortion news. The unofficial Social
Distortion site is reporting that through October the band had been
recording demos of their new material. Just yesterday they finished playing a handful
of dates on Tony Hawk's Boom Boom Huckjam tour. The unofficial
site reports that the band plans to have their long awaited next album ready
for a Spring 2003 release. No label has been announced yet, but Mike Ness told
Billboard in March that "we realize now that we can make it on our own,
and we don't need a big corporation behind us."
