Frank Carter: "I nearly topped myself when I was in Gallows"
In a new interview, former Gallows vocalist Frank Carter talked about his reasons for leaving the band and what he thought Gallows fans might think of his new project with Jimmy Carroll of the The Hope Conspiracy and the Suicide File:
I don't give a fuck about any of them [Gallows fans]. It would be pointless me carrying on doing something that I don't want to do, I'd feel like a fake, which is how I felt for a year. I nearly topped [killed] myself. [Gallows was] a benign dictatorship and a fucking mess.
Carter's new band, Pure Love, is currently recording in Brooklyn, NY with Pixies and Foo Fighters producer Gil Norton.
