Pantychrist singer gets three years in jail for robbery
Danielle Delottinville, vocalist of Hamilton, Ontario's Pantychrist and previously of Chop Suicide has
has been sentenced to three years in prison as the result of charges related to her involvement in a robbery last December. The incident resulted in the death of antiques dealer Jessie Kovacs. The 28 year old pled guilty to the robbery charge in Ontario Superior court on June 26th. The charge of first degree murder she originally faced was withdrawn. With time already spent in custody taken into account Delottinville will remain incarcerated for a further 28 months.
It was determined that the singer, who was reportedly addicted to heroin and perscription drugs at the time of the incident and had supplied the address of the victim, was not in the victim's aparement at the time of his death. The two co-accused men involved in the incident have been charged with first degree murger while a third faces related charges. Details of the case can be found in the Hamilton Spectator and Exclaim.
