Tours: Alexisonfire (Farewell Tour)

As many suspected after the band posted a ticker last week, Alexisonfire have announced a brief reunion but only in order to say farewell on a final tour. The band unceremoniously split last August but talked about a farewell tour this past month.

Members of the band moved on relatively quickly, with co-vocalist Dallas Green spending more time on his City and Colour project, Wade MacNeil joining Gallows and also continuing with Black Lungs as well as collaborating with Jay Malinowski of Bedouin Soundclash. Frontman George Pettit has guested on albums from Cancer Bats and Fucked Up.

So far the band has confirmed December show in the UK, Brazil, Australia and five shows in Canada. One expects that some US dates will be confirmed soon.
