Alkaline Trio enters the studio
Alkaline Trio entered the studio today to begin working on their next full length at Blasting Room Studios in Fort Collins, Colorado with producer Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Rise Against, How Water Music). Frontman Matt Skiba shared his enthusiasm for working with the legendary musician and producer, saying:
If someone would have told 20 years ago that I would be making a record with Bill Stevenson, I simply wouldn't have believed it. Today we start.
The album is their first proper studio album since 2010's
This Addiction
. In the intervening year, the group recorded a series of alternate versions of classic songs and released them as
Damnesia
