Punk rock memoirs to be turned into a movie

"The punk rock memoir Coloring Outside The Lines has been optioned by Cry Havoc Productions of Los Angeles. The book tells the true story of a young punk's experiences with many well-known figures from the L.A. scene of the early eighties, including the family of kids known as The Connected (the real-life inspiration for the TR of 'Suburbia'), Slash Magazine, Black Flag, X, The Oziehares, among others. A screenplay is currently in the works - no title has been chosen yet. This movie should have a great soundtrack!"
The author of this book sent me a copy a little while ago, and I liked it a lot. Look for a review up sometime in the very near future.
