Sunday Edition: November 4, 2012
Hello everyone and welcome to Navel Gazing: your look back in the week in Punknews. I'm Brittany Strummer and I'll be your guide through some of the juiciest, most popular and otherwise noteworthy stories from the last seven days. Remember, every Punknews story is built from tips from our wonderful, good-looking readers, so get to submitting. Here's what got the strange, slow and old community talking this week:
- Original Pennywise singer, Jim Lindberg, rejoined the group.
- All Time Low recorded an interesting live cover of a Limp Bizkit song.
- Your Demise made some poor Halloween choices, then thought better of them.
- Comedian, Doug Stanhope, impersonated the Sex Pistols' John Lydon for a full interview with the Huffington Post after they mistakenly called him.
- We tallied your favorite records from October with Converge, Less Than Jake, and Cobra Skulls leading the pack.
- Hot Water Music announced the dates for their first headlining tour of 2013 with La Dispute and The Menzingers.
- Blink-182 announced that they will be entering the studio to record the follow up to 2011's Neighborhoods after they return from their Australia trek.
With that, we hand over this Sunday evening to the Punknews community, where anything is possible, from the next amusing-then-overwrought meme, to the creation of bands and message boards, to alienating sports chatter. So talk amongst yourselves, spin some tracks in the Navel Gazing turntable.fm room and we'll see you Monday morning.
