Plus 44 not necessarily done, says Mark Hoppus
When Blink-182 reunited in 2009, most assumed that Plus 44 was done. The group was formed by two members of the band, bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker, and had much more in common with Blink-182 than guitarist Tom Delonge's Angels and Airwaves. However, Hoppus took to Twitter to answer fans who asked about the project but would not rule out a future for the group:
[Plus 44 may record] someday in the future, but it's all about Blink-182 right now.
Along with the Blink-182 members, the band included The Nervous Return, Mercy Killers and Transplants touring guitarist Craig Fairbaugh as well as Mercy Killers' Shane Gallagher. They released just one album - 2006's
When Your Heart Stops Beating
.
Update: Speaking of Blink-182, the band has announced the title of their upcoming EP. It's called Dogs Eating Dogs and it's due out December 18, 2012.
