New Project From Ex-Members Of New York Dolls, Brats

us that early New York Dolls guitarist Rick Rivets
(who's appeared in the Brats, Slugs, Corpse Grinders and recently M.F.U)
is working on a new project. Sharing vocals with A.C. Dobak and featuring
bassist Kenny Cruz and drummer (ex-Brats) Sparkey Donovan, the yet to be named
band plans to record an album "in the Dolls/Heartbreakers style." The majority of the material will be revamped versions of unreleased Brats songs,
either rewritten or differently arranged. A spring release is planned on Whiplash
Records.
