Jeff Dean remixing Samiam's 'Whatever's Got You Down'

Samiam's 2006 Hopeless Records full length Whatever's Got You Down - which was criticized for it's unusual production - is being remixed by engineer Jeff Dean. Dean, who is also known for stints in The Bomb, Noise By Numbers, All Eyes West, apparently decided to tackle the album on his own and Samiam posted an image of the board along with the note: "Mr. Jeff Dean has taken it upon himself to remix our 2006 album," No word on when or how the revised album will see release.

Samiam most recently released Trips in 2011 and compiled a live session for Side One Dummy Records' Complete Control Session.
