Elliott Smith Double Album This Summer?

Pitchfork Media is reporting that
Elliott Smith has abandoned his effort to independently release a home recorded
album "From a Basement on the Hill." Instead Smith is turning his
attention to a possible double album due this summer on Dreamworks,
as well as some touring. Smith fansite Sweet
Adeline is reporting that Smith wants the second CD in the set to be referred
to as a "bonus disc" to help keep the price down. Several of his new
songs have worked their ways into his live sets. Check the full article out
