Dropkick Murphys launch fundraiser for Oklahoma tornado relief
Boston's Dropkick Murphys are currently on tour in support of January's release Signed And Sealed In Blood. Unfortunately, the band's Oklahoma City show had to be cancelled due to the area's unfortunate week of severe weather. A number of the band's crew were already in OK when the storm hit and spent Friday night in the tornado shelter of the hotel they were staying at.
In order to aid the folk impacted by the week's tornadoes, the band have unveiled a "Stand with Oklahoma" t-shirt. The fundraiser will be sponsored through The Claddagh Fund, an organization founded by Ken Kasey, where 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the victims and recovery efforts. The shirts can be purchased here, but do it quick because their Boston Marathon bombing shirts didn't last more than a few days.
