The Melvins announce 'Tres Cabrones'
The Melvins (or (the) Melvins or just plain ol' Melvins) have announced a release date for their new album Tres Cabrones. It's due out November 5, 2013 via Ipecac and features the band in their "Melvins 1983" incarnation, which includes founding Melvin Buzz Osborne on guitar, original Melvins drummer Mike Dillard behind the kit, and usual Melvins drummer Dale Crover playing bass.
Melvins 1983 previously appeared on the 1983 EP, as well as the recently released Gaylord 7-inch. Melvins 1983 also played two live shows at the Jello Biafra 50th Birthday party in 2008. Tres Cabrones is expected to compile the previously released Melvins 1983 tracks with unreleased songs.
