Ara Babajian (Leftover Crack) Joins The Slackers / New Dave Hillyard Album

us that according to an e-mail out by saxophonist Dave Hillyard, Ara Babajian
(formerly in Leftover Crack, Agent 99,
the King Django Band) has replaced drummer Alan Teboul in the
Slackers. There's been no word when
Alan left, but Ara was playing with the band in Guelph on New Years. The band
plans to release a new album in September on Hellcat that's tentatively titled
"Close My Eyes."

Hillyard's side band the Dave Hillyard Rocksteady
7 will be releasing a follow-up to "Playtime" titled "United Front" on Do Tell Records some time this spring.
They're touring as well, click below for upcoming Slackers
and Slacker-side-projects dates.
