Fred Armisen assembles punk/indie vets for Late Night with Seth Meyers band

Fred Armisen of Saturday Night Live and Portlandia fame has apparently returned to his musical roots, taking on the role of bandleader for
Late Night with Seth Meyers. The former drummer from both Trenchmouth and Les Savy Fav is leading the band, but also recruited two of his friends from Les Savy Fav -- guitarist Seth Jabour and bassist Syd Butler. Rounding out the lineup is Eli Janney of Girls Against Boys and session drummer Kimberly Thompson.
