Hackers that compromised military Twitter are folk-punk fans?
According to an article in the Daily Beast, the hackers that recently compromised the US Military's Central Command Twitter account may be fans of folk-punk... or they just like the word "Jihad." As you may know, a few days ago, the US Military's CENTCOM Twitter account was compromised by a group called The Cyber Caliphate with the group posting a few pro-ISIS messages via the government's Twitter including the message "I love you ISIS."
In the article, the Daily Beast points out that the Cyber Caliphate Twitter followed only seven twitter handles, including Andrew Jackson Jihad and Side One Dummy Records. However, the article also notes that the group probably wasn't actually ISIS as members of the jihadi group rarely, if ever, refer to themselves as "ISIS."
