Band featured in 'The Punk Syndrome' to enter Eurovision Song Contest
Finnish punk band Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät, featured in the 2012 documentary
The Punk Syndrome, have been selected for their home country’s televised Eurovision Song Contest process.
The band, comprised of four men with various cognitive disabilities, was brought to worldwide attention by the critically acclaimed documentary. The film follows the members and their loved ones through their daily lives, expressing themselves through their own brand of punk rock.
The selection dates for Finland begin on February 7, and continue on the 14th and 21st. The final winner for Finland will be determined on February 28.
