THE SCHEME:
After the sudden demise of Drowningman, old friend and seasoned hardcore veteran Simon Brody headed to the West Coast in desperate need for a new beginning. It was there Simon went on to form THE SCHEME along with former Drowningman alumni Denny Donovan and Todd Tomlinson, Peter Martin (Lifetime), and Ian Miller (Redemption 87).

THE SCHEME are a testament to the power of refined songwriting, reserved melody, and focused aggression. They create an abrasive yet accessible musical atmosphere while still retaining the with heart and energy of their previous bands efforts.

THE SCHEME will be recording their debut CDEP with producer Alex Newport (At The Drive In, The Icarus Line) in the coming months to be released on Deathwish Inc. later in 2003. In the meantime check out an early demo recording from The Scheme entitled "Get It Good" on deathwishinc.com.

CAST ASIDE:
CAST ASIDE are one of the hardest and angriest bands to surface from Richmond, VA in years. Their 7" on Malfunction Records entitled "Overcome" is already a contemporary hardcore classic. Comprised of 6 songs that walk tall and prove that no frills hardcore is still a menacing threat to the music world.

CAST ASIDE will release their follow up to "Overcome" on Deathwish Inc. sometime in 2003.
