Break The Silence (ex-Rise Against) signs to Hopeless

"Mr. Precision (founding/former member of Rise Against and 88 Fingers Louie) and friends have just signed contracts with Hopeless Records. In the midst of recording their debut album at Precision's own Bombshelter Studio, Hopeless flew Chicago's Break The Silence to SXSW in Austin, TX to open for Against All Authority, which was only the band's 4th live performance. Less than 2 months later, the album is currently being mixed and is expected to come out later this year. A video has already been shot for the song "Natoma" which takes place on a set from the Tom Hanks film, "Road To Perdition." Only boombox demos of their first couple songs are currently available on their [infrequently updated] web site. The songs are good but not very representative of the band's technical abilities apparent on the rest of their newer material. Newer mp3s should be released soon. Chicago shows are in the works as well as a possible stint on this year's Warped Tour."
The band's sound is described as "incorporating the ever-popular singing/screaming vocal style... a great blend of high energy melodic punk and technical metal," so take that for what you will.
