Exclusive Videos: Brogues: "Cruel World" (Punknews Exclusive)
Punknews is excited to premier Brogues's video for the track "Cruel World." The song is off the band's new album Heart And Song, which was released on May 20, 2016 via Paper and Plastick. Brogues was originally Shawn Gardiner's (ex-Morning Glory) solo project, but it eventually expanded into a full band after reuniting with Early Gates (also ex-Morning Glory, Regressives, WWIX). The band will be playing a free show at the Knitting Factory in New York on July 16, 2016. Check out Heart And Song

We hit up our buddy and amazing artist, Taylor Bowen about creating an animated video for a song off the new album, 'Heart & Song'. He thought "Cruel World" seemed like a good fit with the tempo and feel. We loved how it came out. "Cruel World" is the opening track off the album, and I think hits home for any individual living in this world still surrounded by violence, discrimination, greed and corruption that just feels so displaced and discontent with it all. Brogues are playing a free show Sat. July 16th at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY.
