- Darius Koski of Swingin' Utters announced a new album and released a new song.
- Editor Adam White extensively reviewed the FME festival.
- Unfortunately, Matt Bellinger of Planes Mistaken For Stars passed away.
- Yours truly interviewed Spike Slawson of Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, Uke-Hunt and The Re-Volts.
- Decapitated were accused of kidnapping and gang rape. Then they released a statement regarding the allegations.
- Direct Hit! and PEARS announced a split album and released some songs.
- Iron Chic and Off With Their Heads announced a tour.
- We interviewed Andrew Neufeld of Comeback Kid.
- Unfortunately, Grant Hart of Hüsker Dü passed away.
- Tom Capone of Quicksand was arrested for shoplifting.
- L7 announced that they will be releasing two singles.
