The planes hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't.

A followup to our earlier story about hardcore superstars, Planes Mistaken For Stars has them announcing a new bassist and that the band will continue on. Here's a message from the band:

"Gared O'Donnell, PMFS' singer and guitarists, recently made a journal entry
at the band's website. [...] He
stated that they have found a new bassist and they have every intention to
continue as a band. The new bassist is Chuck
French, a former member of Peralta. PMFS did not need to look far for a new
bassists, as they have done many tours with Peralta and have been friends
with Chuck for years.

However, Chuck will not be taking over right away. Jamie has committed to
one final tour with the band before Chuck steps in for him full time. The
final and only confirmed dates of Jamie's last run with the band are listed
below.
