Rancid Review in Guitar World

The current issue of Guitar World (August issue on the news stand) has a review of the new Rancid LP. The magazine, which usually does not give punk much focus or good reviews, gave the new album 4 stars. They said something along the lines of (and this is not a direct quote) "Rancid kicks so much ass that it dosen't deserve to be grouped with the current round of pop punk" (again, that is not exact). It seems that to music critics and to other punk bands this album is a hit, we'll see how the public likes it on August 1st.
