Tours: Ivory Coast to play last show this week
From the newest Polyvinyl newsletter:
"The Ivory Coast has decided to part ways and July 25th, 2003 will mark their very last show. Simple matters such as shifts in geography as well as participation in other projects (including Certainly, Sir, The Sea Navy, and touring with Ted Leo/Pharmacists) have led to their break-up. No scandals or any other tabloid worthy stories to report. We wish everyone in the band the best of luck in their future endeavors and thank them for the pleasure of releasing one of the best pop records of 2001. Everyone in the Boston area should be sure to check out their final show at the Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge on Friday July 25th (including sets from old friends The Deafening, Victory At Sea and Helms)."
