Dead Kennedys 25th Anniversary Show

us that the current incarnation of the Dead
Kennedys will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of their first show
with a concert at the Key Club in Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 19th, 2003. Dr.
Know, Split Decision and Loogie will open for the band. Dr. Know vocalist
Brandon Cruz sang lead vocals for the Dead
Kennedys from their controversial 2001 reunion until recently. There is no
word if original singer / lyricist Jello Biafra will have anything to do with
this, but it's doubtful.

Original band members, East Bay Ray, Klaus Flouride and D.H. Peligro will take
part in a DVD signing at Tower Records Sunset Strop on Monday, August 18th at 7
pm. The group just released archival footage in the form of "In God We
Trust, Inc - The Lost Tapes." The first 100 people to purchase the DVD at
the signing get a ticket to the show.
