Tours: Blink-182 cancel upcoming tour dates
Blink-182 have announced that they are cancelling their upcoming September tour dates due to the health of drummer Travis Barker. The band has issued the following statement:
It is with a heavy heart to report that blink must cancel its fall mini tour which was set to kick off September 12th on their way to headline Riot Fest in Chicago. Medical issues have sidelined Travis per doctors' orders. Tray's medical team anticipated that he would be well enough by fall to tour but after recent checkups they were not able to clear him in time for the scheduled run of dates.
The cancellations include this year's Riot Fest in Chicago, along with the dates of their following mini-tour. Blink-182 has also announced that Social Distortion have taken over as the headliners at The Surf Ranch Pros World Surf League event on September 8th.
Ticketholders for any of the events can request a refund at the point of purchase.
