Guns n' Roses sue Guns N' Rose beer
Canarchy Craft Brewery Collective’s Oskar Blues Brewery (located in Colorado) makes a beer called Guns N' Rose. By chance, the name of that brew happens to be very close to the name of famous, international rock band Guns N Roses. Apparently, the conflict began when Osklar Blues Brewery attempted to register a trademark for the Guns n' Rose name. That tipped off Guns n' Roses of the similarly named beer. Axl and the gang sent a cease and desist to the brewery. But, it seems the threat of litigation was not threatening enough to the brewery and they replied that they would continue to sell the brew through march 2020. So, just recently, Guns n Roses filed a trademark infringement suit against the brewery. They're asking for unspecified damages and an Order preventing the brewery from making the Guns n' Rose beer. The brewery has not filed an Answer yet.
