Nik Turner, Lemmy, Ginger Baker, Alan Davey, Shatner on Hawkestrel LP
A bunch of Hawkwind alumni and Hawk-ssociates (living and dead) have come together to release a collaborative project. The project is called Hawkestrel and includes contributions from longtime bassist Alan Davey, co-founder Nik Turner, original bassist Lemmy Kilmister, drummer Ginger Baker (also of Cream), violinist Simon House, original guitarist Huw Lloyd-Langton, Paul Rudolph and more. William Shatner contributes some spoken word. The album is called The Future is Us and the physical version is out August 9. Check out the digital version below.
