In Memoriam: Ten Foot Pole bassist Leigh Lawson

Keith of Epitaph passed on this e-mail from Ten Foot Pole's Dennis Jagard: "Last Saturday, Leigh Lawson, our bass player, passed away. He was working
in San Diego when he lost consciousness; attempts at CPR and shocking his
heart did not revive him. We don't know any other details, an autopsy is
being performed, funeral arrangements have not been made yet. We are
extremely shocked and saddened by this sudden tragedy. Leigh was very
enthusiastic about music, touring with the band, and writing a new record;
we feel a deep sense of loss from the suddenness of his departure and the
knowledge his unmet goals and aspirations. Eventually, Steve and I will
compose an obituary/tribute to Leigh which we would like to send to our fans
and put on the web site." Our sympathies to his friends and family.
