Iggy Pop, The Mars Volta on Tonight's MTV Latin America Video Awards

Pop and mambo kings The Mars Volta
will perform on the second annual MTV Video Music Awards Latin America. Iggy
Pop will perform with Canadian pop-punk act Sum
41, presumably on a track from his upcoming record Skull Ring. The
event takes place tonight (October 23, 2003) at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach and will air live on MTV Latin America and MTV2 in the U.S. at 9:00 p.m. ET (8:00 p.m. Mexico, 10:00 p.m. Chile and Argentina). Following its premiere, the event will air on MTV U.S. on Saturday, November 1st at 8 pm PT/E.
