Minutemen Documentary To Be Released In `04

Pitchfork has reported that a Minutemen documentary is in the works. The documentary, titled
We Jam Econo - The Story Of The Minutemen, is being prepared by filmmaker Tim Irwin for Rocket Fuel Films. According to the website over eighty interviews along with never before released live performance footage is being used.

The filmmakers have the approval and involvement of Mike Watt (who also named the film) and have done extensive interviews
with the bassist and drummer George Hurley. Filming began in January of this year and the finished film should appear at Film Festivals in 2004. There filmmakers are still requesting contributions of photos, video footage or audio of the band, email
