"Rolling Stone is reporting that that Dashboard Confessional has recorded the "key song" for the upcoming Spider-Man 2 soundtrack. Chris Carrabba said that the song, "Vindicated", which he pushed out in an afternoon, is '...not ...about [Spider-Man's alter ego] Peter Parker...For me, it's about something universal: the emotions of being a young adult.' Along with the emo-superstar, Jet and Hoobastank are present on the film's soundtrack."
