Rilo Kiley's Strange Label Situation

We reported earlier that former Saddle Creek band Rilo Kiley had signed to EMI. Curiously, we've recieved some (confirmed) submissions that suggest it will instead be released on Brute/Beaute.
Besides being unpronounceable, a little research suggests that the label has ties to The Wasserman Media Group, a self-described "talent management and lifestyle focused marketing [company]" which also owns 411 and DC Music. We're still looking for more confirmation of the nature of all this so take it with the necessary sodium.
