McSweeney's Publishing will also be releasing a book entitled The Future Dictionary Of America around the same time as the CD's release; the book will contain contributions from over 200 writers including Kurt Vonnegut, Paul Auster, Joyce Carol Oates, Wendy Wasserstein, and more. Future Soundtrack For America will be included inside every copy of The Future Dictionary Of America. 100% of the proceeds from the book and CD projects will go to the previously named charities, as well as The Sierra Club and others.
