Lars is a Bastard

Rancid guitarist/vocalist Lars Frederiksen has finished recording his solo record for Hellcat. The record is titled "Lars Frederikson and the Bastards" and will feature songs about Lars' hometown of Campbell, Ca as well as a cover of (folk artist, former member of Riff Raff) Billy Bragg's "To Have And Have Not." The Bastards will tour with The Dropkick Murphys, Swingin' Utters and Reach The Sky beginning March 9th. The record will be out on March 20th.

On a side note: Rancid's website pops up this dialog box that says "Coming Soon: Machete"... any idea what that means?
