Punk International Perspectives series online

The 2004 Olympic Games commenced today so it's an appropriate time to bring an additional international viewpoint to our coverage. Our good friends Punk International have recently launched their Perspectives series. It offers interviews with members of punk, metal and indie scenes from around the world, delving into the social and political issues facing these cultures and how these issues are reflected in their underground music. The series also serves to dispel common Western misconceptions about the nations and their people by offering a view from the inside. Perspectives interviews are now up with people from Saudi Arabia, Columbia, Algeria, Jordan, Ukraine and Israel. We highly recommend giving them a read.
