Hot Hot Heat

While I was in the middle of writing this review and listening to this cd, a kid from down the hall who is mocked for liking Good Charlotte and Simple Plan, made a special trip down the hall to tell me how âgay' his cd was. Saying that he lacks ALL taste in music is an understatement, because this 5 song EP is awesome.
Starting of this disc is "Le Le Low", one of the catchiest songs I've ever heard. When I listened to this for the first time it was instantly stuck in my head and it was on repeat for the following few days. It's just an excellent catchy song.
After the catchy opener, "5 Times out of 100" follows. It's a slower song, with a catchy chorus, and a mild piano breakdown accompanied by whispered vocals.
Track Four, "Touch You, Touch You" starts off with rhythmic clapping, and then flows into a cool piano part which then introduces the main guitar part. After hearing that I was hooked on this song.
The last song on this EP is "More for Show." This is my second favorite song on this cd, the vocals just flow nicely with the music and it really puts you into a good mood.
If Hot Hot Heat won you over with their full length "Make Up The Breakdown" I assure you that you will like this. But if you've never heard of this band before I suggest you check out "Le Le Low" and if you're not absolutely hooked on that song, you're probably not going to like this band.
