NME is reporting that the New York Dolls will be releasing a new live album in late September titled Pre-Crash Condition. It was recorded during the band's well received appearances at the Meltdown festival in London earlier this year. A DVD featuring footage from the event is also expected later this year. Both the live album and DVD will feature one of the last performances of bassist Arthur Kane, who passed away in July of this year.

The Dolls will appear at this weekend's Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK.
