The Firebird Band ready new album/plan extensive touring

Chicago's The Firebird Band, featuring Chris Broach of Braid, will release their first new full length in over 3 years on October 26. The City At Night will be released by Bifocal Media, the same label resposible for Braid's Killing A Camera film [review]. You can sample MP3s off the release at both the band's and label's respective webpages.

The band is currently prepping for an extensive US/Canada tour from September-December, many shows alongside Lucid Records band Kerbloki. Expect more to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
